One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s newest superheroes is Doctor Strange (2016), who is much unlike other superheroes as he immerses himself in the magical world. It revolves around Dr. Stephen Strange, a brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon whose life takes a downward spiral after a terrible car crash leaves his hands severely damaged ending his career as a surgeon. In desperation, he subjects himself to all manner of traditional medical treatments and when they do not work, he finally decides to go to Kathmandu with only one more option.

In Nepal, however, Strange learns that the Ancient one is not only a healer but also a powerful magician who familiarizes him with the hidden realm of magic and alternate dimensions. At first doubting, strange promptly apprehends how much more there is to the reality than what he has ever conceived about it before. The Ancient One and her other students such as Mordo and Wong guide Dr. Strange on his way to becoming an accomplished sorcerer capable of manipulating time and space powers.

The world is in danger because the powers of Strange are getting stronger and stronger. Kaecilius who is one of the students of ancient one, has turned to black magic and he wants to let loose Dromammu’s power who is his deformative persona that is from another dimention which is called Dark Dimention. The purpose of merging earth with the dark dimension was so that people can live forever according to kecelius but at a terrible price.

Strange is compelled to face Kaecilius and his zealots in a battle that takes place across dimensions, culminating in an encounter with Dormammu. Armed with his fresh abilities, Strange outsmarts Dormammu by putting him into an infinite time loop until he agrees to save Earth. By the conclusion, he is the Sorcerer Supreme; the man who defends earth from all mystical threats. Yet it does not come without its costs or the trials of conscience.
